Spanning 20 years of practise are a selection of Nishikawara’s water/ocean/fish artworks. The book captures her international wanderings and art practice in Berlin and her Vancouver studio, detailing the Gyotaku process, and work with found materials (plastic and jute installation pieces) for the exhibition with the same name at the Vancouver Maritime Museum (July-October, 2021). Self-reflective text offer insights into her artistic influences, interests and inspirations.
