Paula Nishikawara

Nishikawara is an international artist based in Canada and Japan.
She engages in an experiential based art practise with themes of memory,
history, culture and language.
Paula often uses traditional Japanese techniques and materials; reinterpreting to fit a new discourse for the present time.
Tactile, in location, with objects, often with others, her work - an antithesis to our increasingly digital environment.
